WHAT IF THE PRODUCT I WANT TO PURCHASE IS NO LONGER ON EXISTENCE?

The existence of a product is shown at the moment you order, and it depends in the availability of the items. In case we’re out of an item, we’ll announce it in our web site, in the store section. If you wish to buy a product from our store that isn’t available, you may ask us to build it for you. Please send us an e-mail at [email protected] with this subject: ITEM MANUFACTURING REQUEST, followed up by the type of item (ring, pendant or earring). If you wish a ring, you must include the size you need us to manufacture. Take in consideration that it can take us 25 working days to manufacture a piece, if it takes longer for any reason, we’ll contact you through an e-mail.

CAN I CHANGE MY PURCHASE BEFORE YOU SEND IT?

Once you make your payment, cancellations won’t be possible. Changes in your package might be done before your items are sent, as long as you’re requesting for available items. For products that are tailored made, changes can only be possible in the first 24 hours after the purchase has been made. In both cases, you have to send your e-mail to [email protected] specifying what changes you wish to make.

To modify your purchase, you have to follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry account. If you don’t have an account with us, you may register easily when you click the LOGIN button at the top of this website.
  2. After you log in, please go to MY ACCOUNT page and then click on MY PURCHASES on the menu.
  3. Find your purchase and fill up the forms, filling them up according to your changes.

Take into consideration that if a purchase is in the process of being manufactured, it can’t be nulled or modified. We can’t process your cancel or modification request after the first 24 hours, when your payment has been made, because your product is being worked on. Thank you for your understanding.


WHAT IS THE SHIPMENT PROCESS?

To deliveries outside of Costa Rica, we can work through FEDEX, UPS, Costa Rica Mail Service or any other courier that could be convenient for this matter.

Delivery times can vary depending on your location and your address. International buyers will cover the shipping costs and any tax that may apply when their purchase arrive to the country of destination.

For national deliveries (Costa Rica only), the package will be sent through Costa Rica National Mail Service. Client will assume the tax cost, if any, at the moment the product is delivered.

Once your order has been completed, you’ll receive an e-mail with your guide number so you can track your request. Days before the delivery, you’ll get an e-mail with the date and hour of expected arrival of your product. After your purchase is delivered, we’ll send you an e-mail to confirm it.

Tamara Losan Fusion jewelry will not take responsibility for lost or stolen packages after the delivery. If your package has been returned because of absence, Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelr reserves the right to charge back for the cost of resending the package.

In case of deliveries outside the American continent, please take into consideration that your customs office may charge additional taxes or fees for your purchase. Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry will not take responsibility for any additional expenses and won’t refund any charges for additional taxes or fees made by your customs office.


HOW LONG WILL MY PURCHASE WILL TAKE TO ARRIVE?

For international packages, time of arrival might be between 7 to 15 working days after the first 24 hours you made the payment of your products (there can be exceptions in designated products). This doesn’t take into consideration delays for bad weather, random checkups from the customs office or periods of high transit, like Christmas. Please, take note, if you made an international purchase and you’re tracking your package, once it reaches the customs office, the delivery date it’s in their hand and they might change to their earliest convenience. In that case, we suggest you contact your local mail or customs office to ask them about release and when it will be delivered to the address marked in your package.

For purchases made in Costa Rica, time of arrival might be between 5 to 10 working days after the first 24 hours you made the payment (there can be exceptions in designated products).

For tailored made products that aren’t in our regular portfolio at www.tamaralosan.com, it can take up to 25 working days.


HOW CAN I KNOW MY SHIPMENT’S STATUS?

When we send you the confirmation e-mail, we’ll include a link that will give you information about the status of your purchase.


HOW WILL MY PURCHASE BE PACKAGED?

Your purchase will be packaged in a Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry special box and an additional box as a secondary layer of protection; then the package will be put inside an additional layer of protection, usually a third box, provided by the courier.

When your package has reached its destination, before accepting it, it’s very important you review its integrity. If you suspect your package has been damaged or if it’s visibly damaged, reject it and make an official complain to the courier company.


CAN MY PACKAGE BE RECEIVED BY A THIRD PARTY?

If you aren’t available at the moment of the delivery, it can be received by any person you authorize. We’ll send you an e-mail when your package has been released to this third party.

Tamara Losan Fusion jewelry doesn’t take responsibility for lost or stolen packages after delivery. If a package has been returned to sender because of the client’s absence, Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry reserves the right to make additional charges for resending the package.


WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE ISN’T ANYONE TO RECEIVE THE PACKAGE?

If at the moment of delivery, there isn’t anyone to receive it, the courier will try it a second time. This second delivery, usually, it’s scheduled for a couple of hours later or sometime during the next day, depending on the hour of the first try. In case there isn’t someone available for the first one, then the package will be taken to a recollection center. In this case, you’ll have to go pick up the product depending on the designated courier (DHL, Fedex, UPS, etc.).


CAN I CHANGE MY PRODUCT OR ASK FOR A REFUND IF I DON’T LIKE IT?

Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry wishes to make you happy with our products. However, if our product doesn’t meet your standards, you may ask for a change or a refund by following these steps:

  1. Login to your account by clicking the LOGIN button in the top position of this page. Then you may connect and start your session. Please, fill up our refund special form, specifying the reasons why you wish to return your product. Take into consideration Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry doesn’t cover the return shipping fees.
  2. The product shouldn’t have signs of wear and it should be returned in the same box and material it was originally sent.
  3. This process should be done within the first 5 working days after receiving it or else, we can’t proceed with the change or refund.
  4. The product should be sent through a courier like Fedex, UPS or Costa Rica’s Mail Service. Send us an e-mail to give you the address where we will receive it.
  5. As soon as we get the merchandise and we can confirm it’s in a good shape, as well as verifying the return process was made correctly, then we’ll proceed to make the change or refund through the payment method you used in a 22 working day period.
  6. In case you asked for a change for a higher cost product, the buyer will cover any additional charge according to our prizes in the Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry website. We won’t make changes or returns after 5 days the product has been received. In case the product you wish to return is a ring for size issues, please consider an additional 25 days period to manufacture the replacement product.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY TAMARA LOSAN FUSION JEWELRY PRODUCT?

Take care of the quality of your jewelry by taking it off during a shower or the bathtub. Do not exercise with your jewelry on, especially if you go to swim by the sea or a swimming pool with chlorine in the water.

  • Every gemstone in our pieces is natural which means they may be vulnerable to dirt absorption and can be splintered. They may get loose with time also.
  • Avoid spraying fragrance, rubbing skin care products or any other liquid directly over your jewelry.
  • Keep your jewelry away from extreme temperature, humidity or direct sunlight.
  • Avoid wearing your jewelry when using chlorine, cleaning products or other chemicals.

If your jewelry contains gemstones, this is the correct way to clean them up:

  • Some natural gemstones can be very delicate; hot water, aggressive chemical products and cleaning products should be avoided at all times.
  • Clean your gemstones with a clean, soft and slightly wet cloth after using them.
  • Porous gemstones, like turquoise and emeralds, should be cleaned with a soft, untreated and dry cloth.
  • Do not use tissue paper or paper cloths to clean your gemstones, because you might scratch them.

Important: silver jewelry, when it’s in contact with air, will inevitably rust (it will show yellow or black stains). For this reason, we recommend that whenever you’re not using your jewel, keep it inside it’s original box by Tamara Losan Fusion jewelry.

If the jewel has accumulated some dirtiness, clean it the following way: polished or shiny surfaces of the silver jewel, should be rubbed with a special cloth made for this metal. Rub the piece until it’s shine almost reflects the light like a mirror. If it’s texturized in matte, do not rub it with a cloth because it will lose it. A silver cleaning cloth can be used too in pieces that have some materials or finishes and can’t be submerged in cleaning liquid, like gemstones, pearls, natural materials or any other material that isn’t silver.

Pieces stained by silver rust and have a dark / dirty aspect can be cleaned with a cleaning liquid made for silver. If the piece isn’t perfectly dry after cleaning, it will rust again easily. The cleaning liquid for silver can be applied with a clean cloth over the surface of the piece and then you might dry it, rub it in to make it shine and take it off. Important, for all pieces that have gemstones or pearls, do NOT submerge them or clean them with this liquid, or you may ruin them permanently.

Some considerations: the body’s natural oil might stain the pieces and worsen their aspect. You may clean them with a silver cleaning cloth. Especially when the piece has some kind of texture. The cleaning cloth might damage pieces that have some kind of texture.


What MATERIALS DOES TAMARA LOSAN FUSION JEWELRY USE FOR THEIR JEWELRY?

Tamara Losan Fusion jewelry makes his pieces with every care and quality material available. Our pieces are made with sterling silver, also called 925 silver. An official laboratory of contrast of precious materials certifies the quality of the silver.


CAN I REQUEST A CUSTOMISED PIECE OF JEWELRY THAT ISN’T LISTED IN YOUR WEBSITE AT TAMARA LOSAN FUSION JEWELRY?

En Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry wishes your absolute satisfaction with our work. However, if you’re a conscious woman, passionate about nature and thriving to give a personal touch to a jewel of her dreams or wishes to gift a unique and extraordinary piece for a special someone, please get in touch with us at [email protected] with this subject: REQUEST OF CUSTOMISED PIECE, followed by the type of piece you wish to make: ring, earring or pendant.

When you send your request, it’s very important that you give us the size (dimension) that you envision on your piece or, if it’s a ring, the size you need. To breathe some life in your work, we’ll also need you to provide some theme or central topics of inspiration, so we can provide you with three sketched or rendered proposals and our price.

Once you have approved one of our three proposals, we’ll send you our price. If you approve the cost, we’ll ask you for an advance of 60% the piece’s value. When it’s finished, we’ll notify you and we’ll ask for the second payment of 40% of the piece’s value before it’s being sent to its destination.

It’s very important you’re completely sure about the sketch or render you approve; once we start production, changes won’t be possible. Thank you for being understanding on this matter.

Take into consideration that production might last 25 working days. If it’s delayed for any reason, we’ll contact you through an e-mail to let you know.

Note: Tamara Losan Fusion Jewelry respects the work and designs of other jewel makers. It’s absolutely forbidden to ask us to reproduce or copy designs or works made by other designers or jewel makers.
